Bundoora Park Farm is a diverse setting that offers students the opportunity to work in a variety of areas. Students with an interest in farming or animals, agriculture and horticulture are particularly suited to this setting. Our work experience program aims to provide students with a meaningful, hands-on working experience in a farm environment. Some of the tasks involved include assisting in cleaning out animal pens, feeding, watering and nurturing animals, bottle feeding younger animals, helping guides with education groups and assisting with general farm cleaning and grounds maintenance. Bundoora Park Farm welcomes keen students with innovative ideas and initiative.

Secondary Schools, VET and VCAL placements | | Due to the high number of requests we receive each year for work experience we offer a limited number of 8 placements per year. We only accept students for one week placements and only accept one work experience student at a time. VCAL placements can run over the course of several weeks and will depend on availability.

Special Development Schools | | Bundoora Park Farm aims to be inclusive of all people wishing to undertake work experience. Due to the nature of the work involved at Bundoora Park Farm we request that students from Special Development Schools who require a Carer, only apply for a placement if the Carer is able to attend with the student. If this is the case, please follow the guidelines for Secondary Schools, VET and VCAL placements above. Should the application be successful the Carer will be required to attend the interview with the student. | |
